Aviation Fire Training Facility Projects

The following is a list of the Fire Training Facilities APPLIED ENGINEERED SYSTEMS (AES) has designed, constructed and/or repair:

Eglin AFB, FL.:
1999 - Successfully Modified Eglin AFB Aircraft Fire Training Facility. to meet Air Force performance standards, which included replacing high voltage ignition cables, burner igniters, modifying aircraft burner water jackets and burners, re-piping propane manifold on control stand and removing enclosure on control stand and installing proper railing.

Hurlburt Field AFB, FL.:
2000 - Successfully constructed the Hurlburt Field Aircraft Fire Training. AES acted as a subcontractor for Grundy Marine Construction Co. on this project. We had complete responsibility to install the
  1. 12,000 gallon Propane Tank and Transport Unloading Station,
  2. all associated propane piping from the tank through the control stand to the Mock-Up burners,
  3. the Aircraft Mock-Up Structure,
  4. Control Stand,
  5. the Co-Ax Valves and Nitrogen Control System,
  6. the Burners and High Voltage Ignition System for the aircraft burners,
  7. the water piping system from the pond through the control stand to the Mock-Up water jackets and basin,
  8. the Electrical System Control Panel and
  9. the Cathodic Control System, which protected all underground piping.

Wayne County, MI. (Detroit) Metropolitan Airport Fire Training Facility:
1997 - AES had complete design and construction responsibility for the propane storage, high pressure pumping and piping distribution system to the Wayne County, MI. (Detroit) Metropolitan Airport Fire Training Facility as a subcontractor to Contravis, Inc.

City of Ocala, FL Regional Aviation Fire Training Facility:
1996 - AES had complete design and construction responsibility for the propane storage, high pressure pumping and piping distribution system to the City of Ocala, FL Regional Aviation Fire Training Facility as a subcontractor to Contravis, Inc.
